Daily thought on "What Really Grinds My Gears"

I work for an ad agency and I am in the PR end of it, I love my job, the people I work for and work with but do you want to know what really grinds my gears? When people forget to include you.

In our Web 2.0 meeting on Tuesday I'm given an assignment to create a blog, monitor it, drive traffic to it and also read a book on blogging. So what do I do? I create one the same day.

Then everyone thinks it will be fun to send out an email to everybody in that meeting -minus moi- (and Dusty) and tell them about their new blogs...

Really.....really??

So here I am, thinking I'm hot stuff because I created my blog when lo and behold I find out the day after that no, everyone else did too and I just wasn't included in their fun and games....

And that my friends, is what really grinds my gears.

(And I hope all my work buddies know that really, it doesn't grind my gears, I just didn't know what else to write about!)

My all-time favorite sound is a baby's laughter. The innocent, sweet music is one of the most precious things in the world. The pure tone of a baby's giggle resonates complete happiness. What is so bad in an adult's life that our attitudes can't mimic that of a child? The world would be a happier place if we all just watched this video before we started our day.
